Can you believe I am still catching up on blogging from last fall?!?!? Ok, you probably can. Anyway, in September I had the opportunity to capture Kristen and Busisi in a just for fun couples shoot. These two have such a unique story and are just absolutely the sweetest.

I met up with Wayne and Carilee back in January to discuss their June wedding. When it came time to schedule their engagement session we all had pretty busy schedules to work around. Carilee had a girls trip to Vegas, Wayne had a guys trip to volunteer in Mexico, and I had my three week trip to Nicaragua/Costa Rica. Throw in there every day life and, well, we didn't have it easy! We really wanted to capture some winter wonderland images, but by the time we found a date that worked for everyone, paired with the fact that Spring came early, well, we didn't stand a chance! Something to be thankful for however, with our lack of snow, was the lack of cold! We had a fabulously mild Sunday afternoon to work with, so I can't complain. We also made the most of what mother nature gave us and had lots of fun running around outside and ended our session with some puddle jumping. I don't know what I was thinking NOT wearing my own rubber boots, especially since I'm only behind the camera! I got home that afternoon with soggy socks and lots of fun images!

Here's Wayne and Carilee, and HERE is there slideshow!

Hey there all you graduates, it's that time again! Wether you are graduating junior high, highschool or college, what better way to mark this milestone than with your own special photo session! Sure, the formal cap and gown photos are great for the wall, but here's a better way to remember the REAL you. Book between now and April 15th to get all of your final images on a disk, free with the grad package. Shoot me an email through my contact form above for more information.
For more examples of grad/just for you photo sessions, click here, here, here, here, here and here.

Now, to the contest portion of this post. ONE lucky grad will win a free photo session on a weekday that works for both of us during the first two weeks of May. The package includes roughly 2 hours of shooting, and a mini album of 20 final photos. Any other photos must be purchased separately. How do you enter? Simply send me your name, what you are graduating from be it junior high, high school, or college, as well as your phone number and email address. The winner must be in the Winkler area OR be able to meet me in Winkler or Winnipeg. The winner will be picked randomly out of a hat. You may also nominate your friends/children/cousin/ etc... for them as a nice surprise. Just send me an email through the contact form to enter. Contest ends next Friday, March 26th, at 3pm. The winner will be announced on the following Monday.

Kim:
