Dustin came out to Winkler with his family and his girlfriend Gina back at the end of May for some grad photos. I don't do a lot of grad sessions with guys, and I will admit I was a bit nervous that Dustin may not really be up for this, but I worried for nothing. He was perfectly polite and didn't look at me funny after any of my requests, and even chatted with me during the session. That's more than I can say for some of my grooms that are twice his age! lol... in all seriousness (ok, I was being serious) I really appreciated that Dustin and Gina were both up for a fun session!!
Congrats on graduating Dustin! Hope you enjoy your summer of freedom before it's time to become an adult!!

Just two pics from this weekends wedding to show off for today. Little Hudson was absolutely the most adorable groomsman I have ever laid eyes on!! Here he is with his gorgeous mamma!
The photos we captured out in this field were absolutely 100% worth dragging Matt and Tara away from their wedding reception, as well as worth the bumpy ride to get there!!! The views from Matt's Uncle Randy's property out in Okotoks were amazing!!!

Oh my, I wish I was there. But if I weren't there, there is no other photographers pictures that could capture the moment better! Tara looks like a goddess and has the cutest little groomsmen by far!

I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding for a friend this past weekend in Calgary. I was away from Thursday until Monday, what a nice long weekend! Though it wasn't exactly a vacation, we did have the chance to get out to Banff for the day on Sunday. It was cold and rainy unfortunately, but I really loved driving out and just looking out the car window at the scenery! It didn't rain the whole time, we did get out of the car to look around a bit, and I did get a handful of photos. I wish I had had more energy to explore, but after a full day of shooting a wedding the day before, I really was pooped!
I have lots of great sessions to post in the near future. I feel like I am always saying that! I will definitely admit I am having trouble keeping up this summer. Being pregnant has knocked me on my behind for some much needed rest for a couple of hours nearly every day. I find myself falling asleep at my desk and know that it's time for a break! I hope to get caught up very soon, and honestly can't wait until all the work is done and I can think about decorating the nursery! I really have a one track mind these days!!!
So anyway, keep visiting and I promise one of these days you'll be surprised to see something new up here!!!

So I ordered a couple of mini albums just because they are so darn cute I couldn't resist. I had included one in my grad contest prize, so one of them was for Carolyn and since I was ordering one anyway I decided I may as well save on shipping and order another. I made a cute little book out of some of Sonya and John's engagement photos as a wedding gift, and it's absolutely darling! These little books are 4 inches by 4 inches (or 4x8 when opened) and come in 6 different colors. Each one comes with it's own little pouch for safe keeping. Doesn't get much cuter than that!
